Coinciding with Johnny Appleseed's Birthday Bash at Apple Hill. We've been inviting all Kids to visit us on annual Kids' Day for years! As in the past, we'll start our scarecrow making contest; gunny sack races; walkin' pie eating contest; a mini cooking school; and Kids get a free caramel apple if they wear their Kids, Inc. APPLE BLOSSOM FESTIVAL

During Apple Blossom Weekend, a lot is going on around the Apple Hill Grower Area! There is a Recipe Treasure Hunt involving 12 Apple Hill Growers—Great Fun! There is a Trail Run over private property on April 28 that benefits the Hope House, a local transitional home for mothers with children. Enjoy a BBQ at Jack Russell Brewery on Saturday at 1:00. At Kids Inc, we will be giving out our famous Chicken Pot Pie recipe for the Treasure Hunt! We will also give demonstrations on how to prepare our perfect pie crust to top the Chicken Pot Pie. Samples of the recipe will be given to all visitors both Saturday and Sunday. And, of course, our bake shop will be open with Walkin’ Pies, Apple Empanadas, and Cottage Apple Pies.
